Meet Ehsan Salout

Lic AC. MBAcC. BAs

My journey of health and wellness began in 2009 as a part-time job while studying at university. Since then, my interest has developed into a passion for exploring Holistic Medicine. I'm an advocate of Martial Arts. From a young age, I've been practising Wing Chun, Qi Gong and Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and  I got my black belt in JKD at 23 years old. With that being said, I have been around alternative medicine my whole life. Throughout my childhood, my parents inspired me with the essential values that I apply to my treatments today. Such as the importance and integrity of body, mind and spirit for well-being.
Prior to studying acupuncture and Chinese medicine I've been travelling and sailing for a couple of years. This gave me a broad view of the cultural world and how humans thrive. I gained my BSc (Hons) and licence to practice Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, UK. I studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Five Element Style of Acupuncture. It has given me the ability to incorporate a more effective way of treatments in my practice, addressing a wide range of issues.  I'm one of the founders of Chinese Medicine Society at Kingston University and currently the secretary of the society. I'm also a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).

I'm concentrated to treat the root cause of illness, not just the symptoms. I believe Acupuncture is a unique and profound system of medicine that could increase the quality of life and help people to be the best version of themselves.  Every day, I strive to both educate and heal my guests, empowering them to live a better and healthier life.

I'm proud to be working with a team of passionate and thriving  Chiropractors and Osteopath at Reflex Spinal Health in Caversham. I'm also working with a collection of excellent Pilates instructors and Personal trainers at Refresh Health Club in Reading.

P.S. Choosing a therapist is an important decision for whatever treatment you are seeking. You need someone you can both trust and get along with. That is why you are invited to a free 20-minute consultation. This will give you the opportunity to decide whether I am the right acupuncturist or sports therapist for you and whether acupuncture, manual therapy, or a combination of both (or, indeed, a completely different therapy) would be the most appropriate in your case. In instances where I'm not able to help you, I would refer you to the relevant respected practitioner/therapy where you could benefit from the best course of care.  Simply call or book your free consultation below.
